My photographic practice focuses on fine art still life, inspired by the way light shapes the objects it touches and by studying the Old Masters and their approach to light and composition. I am drawn to the ability of light to reveal, transform, and redefine ordinary subjects, inviting a closer look at things that often go unnoticed. Through my work, I aim to create images that feel closer to paintings than photographs.

Photography: from the Greek phōs (light) and graphē (writing), literally means “writing with light”.

Many of my works begin with simple, everyday objects. Some appear suspended or in motion, while others emerge quietly from darkness, shaped by light. For me, photography is a way to explore how light and space can alter our perception of the familiar and open a space for contemplation.
